Citizens have the right to claim their property, at no cost, at any time, regardless of the amount.
- How to claim
- Search the state's database (
available free of charge, 24 hours a day
) and start a claim from it, then mail the completed claim form with the required documents to the address on the form. - Documents
- Each claim form lists what's required: usually a copy of your current ID showing your current mailing address, plus documents proving you own the account.
Providing your identification alone may not be sufficient.
