search for your money and claim it at no cost.
- Money Match
- Through Enhanced Money Match, the Treasurer can use state databases to identify some owners and mail checks directly to them,
without even filing a claim.
A check that arrives this way is from the program, but any call or text asking you to pay a fee is not. - What it covers
- Forgotten bank accounts, uncashed checks, insurance payments, utility refunds, safe-deposit box contents and other funds turned over to the state.
